Epic Works is seeking a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of our busy flooring warehouse in Meadowbrook.
This is a practical role requiring someone who is organised, proactive and able to work independently. You will be responsible for keeping the warehouse running efficiently and ensuring materials are ready when our installation teams need them.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving, checking and storing flooring products and materials
- Picking and preparing materials for upcoming projects
- Coordinating deliveries to construction sites
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and completing regular stocktakes
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and secure
- Communicating with the operations team, suppliers and installers
- Planning ahead to ensure materials are ready before each job commences
- Identifying and resolving issues without needing constant direction
- Completing general warehouse duties and assisting with deliveries when required
The successful applicant will:
- Have previous warehouse, logistics or stores experience
- Demonstrate strong organisation and time-management skills
- Take ownership of the position and follow tasks through to completion
- Be able to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment
- Have good attention to detail and basic computer skills
- Be physically capable of safely handling flooring materialsHold a current Australian driver's licence
- Have extensive forklift experience
- Communicate clearly and work well with office and site teams
- Experience in flooring, construction or building materials would be highly regarded but is not essential.
