The Company
Our client is a builder developer with an extensive pipeline of work across Canberra. They've built their reputation on strong subcontractor relationships and a trusted network of preferred suppliers — and just as importantly, on developing their own Project Managers from within.
This role is your entry point into that pathway.

The Opportunity
You'll start on the front end of a new project, working through procurement of trade packages ahead of construction kicking off later this year. From there, you'll move onto site and stay across the project from structure through to fit out to practical completion
There's an extensive pipeline behind this project, which means this isn't a one and done role. It's the start of a career with a company that has the work to keep backing you.

What You'll Be Doing

- Managing procurement of trade packages ahead of project mobilisation
- Working closely with preferred subcontractors and suppliers throughout delivery
- Supporting the project team through whole project lifecycle
- Coordinating program, quality, and site documentation
- Working directly with senior site and project management to build your commercial and technical capability

What You'll Bring





- New build construction experience from structure through to fit out, within the Australian industry
- A trade background or university degree in construction/engineering
- Exposure to design management — coordinating consultants, reviewing drawings, and managing design-related RFIs
- Strong understanding of subcontractor and supplier coordination
- The drive to step up — this role may suit an experienced Site Engineer ready to move toward Project Management
