Registered Nurse (Practice Nurse) — General Practice, Caulfield North VIC

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, triage, and nursing care in a general practice setting.
- Deliver wound care, immunisations, injections, chronic disease monitoring, and point-of-care testing.
- Support GPs with clinical procedures, specimen collection, ECGs, and minor procedures as required.
- Coordinate health promotion, preventative care programs, and recall systems for screening and immunisation.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, lifestyle modification, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and assist with electronic medical records management and recall reminders.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, infection control practices, and workplace safety compliance.
- Work collaboratively with reception and administration to support smooth patient flow and clinic operations.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

- Current Australian registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA registration required).




- Previous experience in general practice, community health, or primary care preferred.
- Strong clinical skills including immunisation administration, wound management, and chronic disease support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
- Competency in electronic medical record systems and basic computer literacy.
- Current CPR certificate, police check, and valid working rights in Australia.
