About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a People and Culture Coordinator to join the growing team at Ahrens in our Perth office.
n
This role provides hands-on generalist Human Resource supporting Ahrens'Mining and Industrial Services Division. The successful candidate will have a passion for, and experience in, recruitment with an eagerness to grow their skill set and play a key role in the ongoing success of the business.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Provide feedback to candidates on application progress and outcome in a timely manner.
n
- Responsible for end-to-end HR administration from onboarding through to offboarding.
n
- Work with mobilisation to ensure people are site-ready.
n
- Provide support to managers on the appointment of new employees, ensuring all onboarding and induction processes are completed for a successful commencement.
n
- Coordinate employees 3 and 6 months reviews, escalating performance concerns to the Employee Relations Manager prior to the completion of employee probation.
n
- Manage and maintain company immigration, employee working right and company sponsorship as required.
n
- Provide initial level of guidance to employees and manager for queries related to employee and industrial relations and internal Human Resources Policies.
n
- Support the People and Culture team with initiatives related to training and development, corporate social responsibility and process improvements.

Skills and Experience
n
n
- Experience in Human Resource administration and knowledge of recruitment, and or experience in a similar role.
n
- Proven ability to interpret and apply Industrial Awards and Enterprise Agreements, plus knowledge of National Employment Standards.
n
- Familiarity with visa and work rights requirements is advantageous.
n
- High level of attention to detail and proven ability to prioritise and multi-task.
n
- A proactive, professional with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of people.
n
- High personal integrity with an understanding of and commitment to confidentiality.
n
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills, including high level reporting skills.
n
