Join Vertical Scope Group's (VSG) Skilled Services Division in Canberra as we are seeking a driven, highly skilled and experienced TSPV-cleared Lead Cryptography Security Engineer to join our award-winning team in supporting critical Defence and National Intelligence Community programs.

About the role:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and supporting cryptographic solutions within complex enterprise or classified environments.
n
- Strong experience with Key Management Systems (KMS), Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and encryption technologies.
n
- Experience implementing cryptographic key lifecycle processes, including key generation, storage, rotation, archival, recovery and destruction.
n
- Experience integrating cryptographic services across cloud, hybrid-cloud and on-premises environments.
n
- Strong understanding of contemporary cryptographic principles, protocols, standards and secure integration patterns.
n
- Experience conducting security assessments, technical risk analysis, vulnerability management and security assurance activities.
n
- Knowledge of Australian Government security frameworks and requirements, including the ISM and PSPF.
n
- Ability to provide specialist technical advice and communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
- Experience developing technical documentation,



engineering standards, operational procedures and implementation guidance.
n
- Demonstrated ability to operate at SFIA Level 5 or equivalent.
n

The role is Canberra-based and primarily onsite, with occasional work-from-home arrangements considered. Applicants must hold a current AGSVA TSPV security clearance.
