We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Electrician to join our client's maintenance team on a long-term temp-to-permanent opportunity. Our client is looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career with the business. The successful candidate will initially commence on a 3-month casual trial through our agency, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time position following successful performance and a good fit with the team.

About the Role

n

Working as part of the site maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping production and packaging equipment operating safely and efficiently.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance on production and packaging machinery
n
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults across PLC-controlled equipment, motors and control systems
n
- Responding promptly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
n
- Completing scheduled maintenance checks, inspections and documentationWorking safely and in accordance with WHS and food safety requirements
n




- Liaising with production supervisors and the maintenance team to prioritise urgent breakdowns and maintenance works
n

About You To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- A current Electrical Licence
n
- Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing or production environments
n
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
- Experience with PLCs, motors, control systems and automated machinery
n
- A proactive approach to preventative maintenance
n
- The ability to work independently and respond calmly under pressure
n
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
n
- The ability to work 10:00pm – 6:00am, Monday to Friday
n
