We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team and help streamline operations as we navigate our way through a current inventory management system.

As the successful applicant, the Accounts Payable Officer will provide support across a range of accounting administrative functions to ensure smooth operation of our Business.
Key responsibilities
Purchase Order Management
· Receive order confirmations and create purchase orders
· Liaise with internal stakeholders on product details and quantity
· Performing PO reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
End to End Accounts Payable
· Manage and process all incoming supplier invoices
· Validate invoices and perform 3-way matching with PO’s and goods receipted
· Direct invoices to appropriate approvers before entering
· Process weekly payment run in line with credit terms
· Manage and follow-through credit claim requests
· Weekly reconciliation of supplier statements
· Assist with month-end procedures, including accruals
· Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as needed to support the finance team.
The ideal candidate will have
- Demonstrated full-function AP experience, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and payments
- 3 years of experience in a similar Accounts Payable role
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Organised and dependable, with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving
- High attention to detail and effective time management skills
- Flexible and able to adapt to new systems, processes and business needs
- Experience with inventory management software and Xero is preferred but not essential
