As the peak industry body representing civil contractors, the Civil Contractors Federation Queensland Limited is a member-driven employer association that promotes and protects the interests of civil construction employers, as well as providing advise and advocacy to all levels of government. Our training arm, Civil Train, is a leader in delivering nationally recognised training and assessment services.
We are currently seeking a Training Administration Officer to join our Civil Train team to perform a broad range of administrative tasks. The successful applicant will have a solid customer service focus with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people as well as sound computer and organisational skills.
The role requirements and key duties are:
- Training administration experience
- Experience with AXcelerate (student management system) advantageous
- Ensure reporting requirements are met, working in collaboration with others
- Ensure all student correspondence is collected, processed, distributed, filed and mailed in line with policies and procedures
- Ensure that all evidence packs are scanned and uploaded in the database
- Arrange inventory, prepare supply of student course materials and undertake student bookings
- Prepare and process enrolment records including training plans and verification of participation eligibility
- Produce certificates and transcripts
- Prepare documentation to support training function of the Trainers and prepare rooms for training
- Achieve performance efficiencies by contributing ideas and assistance that will streamline administrative processes where possible
- Develop and maintain active relationships with trainers, managers, employees and other stakeholders
- Provide and respond to inquiries from clients, potential clients, key stakeholders and industry contacts in a timely manner
Highly valued attributes:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in office administration
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Experience with aXcelerate highly regarded)
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
- High degree of accuracy with data entry
- High level ability to multi-task in a busy, small team environment
- Confidence managing competing priorities
Pay: $53,060.32 – $64,374.64 per year
