Role Description The Afternoon Shift Digital Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Hallam, VIC. This role is responsible for operating digital printing equipment, setting up jobs according to production specifications, and monitoring output quality throughout each run.

The Digital

Operator will perform routine equipment checks, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure continuous and efficient operation. Day-to-day tasks include managing print queues, loading materials, performing color and quality checks, and accurately recording production data.



The role also involves working closely with the production team to meet deadlines, following safety and quality procedures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Qualifications

- Experience operating digital printing or similar production equipment, with strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Basic technical and mechanical aptitude, including the ability to perform routine equipment checks, troubleshooting, and minor maintenance.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple jobs, meet production schedules, and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to follow work instructions, safety protocols, and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members across production and related departments.
- Willingness to work afternoon shifts on-site in Hallam, VIC, with a reliable work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Previous experience in print, packaging, or manufacturing environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in printing, graphics, or manufacturing operations is an advantage.
