This is a part time position focused on delivering the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) in a traineeship model. Working across traineeship delivery, allows ET Australia to support strong industry engagement and diverse student cohorts.

The traineeship workshops are delivered on site, at the partner organisations, with simulation assessments conducted on site at ET Australia, Gosford, delivered during normal business hours.

This is a hands-on training role that combines face-to-face delivery, workplace-based support, assessment and administration across traineeship pathways.

About You To excel in this role, you will bring the qualifications, industry knowledge and learner-focused approach needed to deliver high-quality training and assessment in the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing). You will:

- Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110, TAE40116 or TAE40122) or a higher adult education qualification
- Hold relevant industry qualifications in aged care, including strong knowledge of contemporary aged care practice
- Have current industry experience in the aged care sector, ideally with experience relevant to Individual Support (Ageing)
- Demonstrate the ability to engage, support and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds
- Have strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Be confident delivering training and assessment across classroom,



small groups, simulated and workplace environments
- Be committed to compliance, quality assurance and continuous professional development
- Hold a current driver’s licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality training and assessment for the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) across traineeships, in small groups & simulated and workplace settings
- Support students to develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence required for effective work in the aged care sector
- Conduct assessment activities in line with training package requirements and the Standards for RTOs 2025
- Maintain accurate student records, assessment evidence and progression data in accordance with compliance requirements
- Provide clear guidance, learner support and constructive feedback to promote student success
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and employers to ensure training remains relevant to workforce needs
- Participate in validation, audits and continuous improvement activities to support quality training outcomes
- Review and enhance training and assessment materials and resources to support engaging, high-quality delivery
- Stay current with aged care industry trends, practices and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and compliant learning environment

Pre-employment requirementsSuccessful applicants must hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and complete a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) prior to employment.
