About the role
We’re seeking an experienced and customer-focused Agronomist / Senior Agronomist to join our team. In this influential role, you will partner with Account Managers, growers, industry stakeholders and research teams to deliver expert agronomic advice, strengthen customer relationships, and support the continued growth of CSBP's products and services.
Reporting to the Agronomy Manager, you will be a trusted technical advisor, providing crop nutrition expertise and training across our business and customer network. You'll play a key role in supporting sales teams, driving customer engagement, extending research outcomes and contributing to innovative agronomic solutions for Western Australian agriculture
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on soil fertility, plant nutrition and crop management.
- Deliver training and technical support to CSBP Account Managers and distribution partners.
- Support growers through nutritional recommendations and the use of digital tools, including NULogic and CSBP DecipherAg.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers, consultants, grower groups, research organisations and industry stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of new products, services and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with the Field Research team to interpret and extend trial results to customers and industry.
- Represent CSBP at industry events, field days and technical forums.
- Champion safe work practices and contribute to environmental stewardship and nutrient-use efficiency initiatives
About You To be successful, you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of soil science, plant nutrition and Western Australian farming systems.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience delivering technical advice to growers, agribusinesses or sales teams.
- An understanding of agricultural research and the ability to interpret and communicate results.
- Strong planning, analytical and organisational capabilities.
- A customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping others succeed
