We’re looking for a AI at Work Practice Lead to build and scale our Productivity capability across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform and modern workplace transformation.

This isn’t a role where you’ll inherit a mature practice and keep it running.

You’ll build it.

You’ll shape our proposition, define how we take Productivity to market, build the team and capability around it, create repeatable offerings, and help clients understand what AI-enabled work can actually look like in practice.

You’ll work alongside our Data & AI, AI and Cloud & Apps Practice Leads to create integrated solutions that connect technology with adoption, behaviour change and measurable business value.

What you will do

- Define and execute the strategy for nexwave’s AI at Work practice
- Shape our market positioning across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform and modern workplace transformation
- Build commercially viable, repeatable Productivity offerings aligned to real client demand
- Own the growth and commercial performance of the practice, including pipeline, revenue and utilisation
- Partner with Growth and Partnerships on discovery, solution shaping, proposals, pre-sales and go-to-market activity
- Build and scale a high-performing AI at Work team as the practice grows
- Establish technical standards, delivery patterns, capability pathways and ways of working
- Coach and develop consultants, helping them strengthen both technical depth and consulting capability
- Provide senior oversight across complex Productivity engagements, including architecture, delivery approach, risk and quality
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and help them connect technology investment to business outcomes
- Lead the development of reusable IP, accelerators,



playbooks and productised services
- Shape how Microsoft Copilot, agents, automation and modern workplace technologies are embedded into real client environments
- Work across nexwave’s practices to develop integrated propositions spanning Productivity, AI, Data & AI and Cloud & Apps
- Represent nexwave with Microsoft, clients and the broader market as a senior Productivity leader

What you’ll bring

- Proven leadership experience across Microsoft 365, modern workplace, productivity or employee experience technology
- Experience building, leading or scaling a consulting capability, team or practice
- Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Copilot, with practical experience applying them to workplace transformation
- Strong knowledge of adjacent Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform, Azure, Data, AI and security
- A track record of developing people, establishing standards and creating repeatable delivery approaches
- Strong commercial acumen and experience contributing to sales, solution shaping, proposals and client growth
- Experience connecting technology strategy with adoption, operating models and measurable business outcomes
- Strong client-facing consulting experience, including working with senior stakeholders and executives
- Experience developing offerings, accelerators, IP or productised services
- The ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and turn strategy into an executable plan

Nice to have

- Microsoft certifications across Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform or Azure
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and agent development
- Experience with Microsoft Purview, Entra, Defender or security-led workplace transformation
- Experience designing adoption and change programs alongside technology delivery
- Experience developing managed services, IP or productised consulting offerings
- Existing relationships across Microsoft or the Australian Microsoft partner ecosystem
- Experience leading cross-practice or enterprise transformation programs
