About the role

Acorn Stairlifts is seeking an experienced Appointment Setter to join our Sales team. This is a full-time position based in O'Connor, and there is no call calling! In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments and managing customer interactions with a focus on delivering exceptional service.

You will work within our call centre environment, handling inbound enquiries and converting customer interest into confirmed appointments. This position is vital to our business operations, directly supporting our sales pipeline and ensuring customers receive timely responses to their service requests.

Key responsibilities

- Responding to inbound customer enquiries and providing information about the Acorn Stairlifts products and services

- Scheduling appointments for customers seeking product demonstrations or consultations

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records and appointment logs in our systems

- Confirming appointments with customers via phone or email to minimise no-shows

- Addressing customer queries and concerns with professionalism and empathy

- Following established call centre protocols and quality standards

- Meeting appointment targets and productivity metrics

- Liaising with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth customer handovers

- Providing feedback on customer interactions and suggestions for service improvement

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working in a call centre or customer service environment

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate information to customers

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple appointments and customer information

- Proficiency with computer systems

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a quick-paced environment





- Customer-focused mindset with a genuine desire to provide high-quality service

- Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanour

- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet scheduling requirements

- Patience and problem-solving abilities when dealing with customer issues

- Previous experience in the home services, elderly care, or mobility solutions industry is advantageous but not essential
