About the role

We're looking for an Analyst Programmer to develop, integrate and support applications across our business operations, ecommerce environment, individual brand websites and a customer loyalty platform.

The role blends business analysis, full-stack development, system integration, workflow automation and applied AI. You'll work directly with business stakeholders to understand what they need, build it, test it and keep improving it.

What you'll do

- Consult with stakeholders, translate requirements into specifications and deliver working software through development, testing and refinement.
- Develop and improve internal business applications supporting inventory, warehousing, production, quality control and reporting.
- Build and maintain AI-enabled customer features: conversational shopping assistants, natural-language and visual product search, guided routine building, hybrid semantic search and AI review summaries.
- Build API integrations and automation workflows between internal systems, ecommerce platforms, CRM and external services.
- Contribute to a loyalty and rewards application with customer-facing and merchant-facing functionality.
- Diagnose defects across UI, backend, APIs and data,



and review and validate AI-assisted code before it ships.

What you'll bring Practical, hands-on experience in:

- Translating stakeholder requirements into working software, with personal involvement in implementation and testing.
- Full-stack development: user interfaces, backend logic, APIs and data handling.
- Ecommerce development: product information, search, recommendations or cart functionality on a commerce platform.
- Applied AI: integrating LLM-powered features using business data, structured outputs or application actions.
- Retrieval and search: embeddings, semantic retrieval or RAG, including evaluating relevance and handling poor results.
- System integration and workflow automation between business systems.
- Reviewing, debugging and testing code, including code written with AI assistance.
- Explicit communication with non-technical users.

Please note: experience limited to standalone AI chat tools, content-generation tools or website page builders does not meet the development requirements of this role. Pay: $85,000.00 per year
