The Role
Clariant Mining Solutions is a trusted global provider of emulsifiers for mining explosives and mineral processing reagents. We focus on creating value by improving performance of our customers' processes through a global network of application and development centres and rapid response to customer requirements.
The Flotation Technical
Manager is accountable for the coordination and guidance of technical personnel and flotation laboratory activities, including application of the existing portfolio and development of new products, resource allocation and monitoring to ensure project prioritization. The successful applicant will lead a team of 3 direct reports and play a key role in delivering the Clariant Mining Solutions strategic growth agenda in APAC.
What are your responsibilities?
1. Coordinate activities for the development and validation of current products, technologies, and processes;
2. Lead technology research and suggest/implement actions to increase yield and selectivity in mining processes;
3. Bridge technical discussions between customers and the sales team for execution of major projects;
4. Technically evaluate products being launched, generate data necessary for effective decision-making;
5. Coordinate and guide technical personnel and flotation laboratory activities;
6. Manage resource allocation and monitoring to ensure project prioritization;
7. Represent the APAC Mineral Processing segment within our global technology community.
Who are we looking for?

1. Master's degree in Mining or Chemical Engineering, or a related field;
2. 5–10 years of experience in mineral processing, chemical research, formulation, and/or application development;
3. Comfortable with Microsoft Office applications; prior experience in a matrix organisation desirable.
