Dardanup Tavern is seeking a motivated 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Chef to join our kitchen team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice who wants to continue developing their skills in a busy, established hospitality venue while gaining broad hands-on experience across a varied pub-style menu.

About the role

Working alongside the kitchen team at Dardanup Tavern, you will be involved in the preparation and service of a diverse pub-style menu while continuing to develop the practical skills required to complete your apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing and cooking menu items to a consistent standard
- Assisting with food preparation, portioning and presentation
- Working across different sections of the kitchen
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
- Assisting with stock rotation, storage and general kitchen organisation
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Continuing to develop your skills under the guidance of experienced kitchen staff

About you

- Currently a 2nd Year Apprentice Chef or above




- Has a genuine interest in cooking and hospitality
- Reliable, punctual and motivated
- Works well as part of a team
- Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Can work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Takes pride in the quality and presentation of their work
- Available to work a hospitality roster, including evenings and weekends
