Talent Edge is seeking a Graduate of Architecture/Architectural Designer to join our skilled and supportive team. This role is suited to enthusiastic individual with 2-4 years' experience who is keen to apply and develop their skills across all stages of architectural projects, from concept design through to documentation and construction.
Working as part of a project team, you will be involved in new build and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors. You will receive on-the-job learning and guidance from senior team members and be encouraged to contribute to a positive, collaborative office culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with design and documentation from briefing through to completion.
- Undertake allocated project tasks and support the delivery of project objectives.
- Attend coordination meetings and liaise with consultants and stakeholders as directed.
- Assist with project administration, including meeting agendas, minutes, and general documentation.
- Attend site visits during construction and assist with related contract administration tasks.
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with internal quality standards.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Architecture.
- Strong visual communication skills, including conceptual sketches and technical drawings.
- Exposure to key project phases: concept design, design development, and documentation.
- Understanding of relevant standards (e.g. NCC, BCA, Australian Standards) and construction methodology.
- Proficiency in CAD/Revit.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office applications.
