About the Role

As an Area Manager, your focus will be on ensuring stores consistently deliver the required standards across quality, customer service, merchandising, food, fuel and overall store operations.

You’ll spend time in the field conducting audits and assessments, but just as importantly, you’ll work alongside store teams to coach, influence and implement practical improvements.

What You'll Be Doing

- Champion retail standards across stores, including merchandising, marketing, point-of-sale and customer service
- Conduct quality, standards, audit and product compliance checks
- Monitor compliance across food safety, safe working practices and workplace health & safety
- Identify operational gaps and work with Licensees and Store Managers to develop and implement improvement plans
- Coach and train store teams to ensure consistent brand and operational standards
- Complete the full audit cycle, assessing operational effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance
- Analyse audit findings and store data, preparing clear reports and recommendations for stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve sales, marketing and store performance, and support their implementation
- Build strong relationships with Licensees, Store Managers and internal and external stakeholders
- Support recent store openings and the rollout of field programs and initiatives
- Travel regularly across the state, including some overnight stays and occasional air travel

What We're Looking For We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident working with people and comfortable assessing performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Whether your background is in retail management, fast food, petrol & convenience or auditing, this is an opportunity to take your experience into a broader, multi-site Area Manager role.

To Be Successful, You'll Bring

- Previous experience in retail, quick food, food service, petrol & convenience or auditing
- Solid attention to detail and the ability to identify operational gaps




- Experience working with standards, compliance, processes or performance
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The confidence to coach, influence and work with people at all levels
- The ability to analyse information and produce clear, accurate reports
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
- Good commercial awareness and a focus on achieving results
- A current Australian driver's licence and willingness to undertake frequent travel
