We’re looking for an experienced Area Manager to provide strategic leadership across our venues, driving operational excellence, commercial performance and outstanding guest experiences.

This is a hands on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast paced hospitality environment and has a passion for building high performing teams and exceptional venue cultures.

About the Role

A family owned business, you’ll oversee the operational performance of five venues, ensuring consistency, profitability and service excellence across every aspect of the business. You will work closely with Venue Managers and support teams to strengthen leadership capability, improve systems and processes, and deliver memorable guest experiences that keep customers coming back.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and support Venue Managers to achieve operational and financial targets. · Drive a culture of exceptional guest service across all venues.

· Oversee food and beverage operations alongside entertainment experiences to ensure seamless delivery.

· Develop and implement operational strategies that support growth and continuous improvement.

· Analyse business performance, identify opportunities and execute improvement initiatives.

· Monitor labour, wage costs, inventory management and operational efficiencies.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing and regulatory requirements.

· Build leadership capability through coaching, mentoring and performance management.

· Collaborate with marketing,



finance, events and support teams to execute company initiatives.

· Support new venue openings, refurbishments and business expansion projects.

About You

You’ll be an accomplished hospitality leader with experience managing multi-site operations and a genuine passion for delivering memorable customer experiences.

You’ll bring

· Minimum 3 years senior leadership experience within hospitality, entertainment or leisure operations.

· Proven success leading multiple venues and developing high performing management teams.

· Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing budgets and KPIs.

· A strategic mindset balanced with a willingness to be present in venues and support frontline teams.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Experience driving operational consistency while maintaining venue personality and culture.

· Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, licensing and workplace health and safety requirements.

· A collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire, coach and influence others.
