About the team The Duties and Grants Governance and Risk function provide critical oversight across governance, risk, privacy, assurance, and high-risk statutory matters, helping build trust, strengthen accountability, and our meet obligations to customers, stakeholders and government.

Your day-to-day
- Contribute to initiatives that strengthen governance, risk management, privacy compliance and assurance across Duties and Grants.
- Support the timely management of Ministerial, GIPA, complaints, Ombudsman and other statutory matters, coordinating responses and stakeholder engagement.
- Assist with privacy incident management, maintain risk, privacy and audit action registers and contribute to reporting that supports accountability and informed decision making.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to coordinate inputs, prepare documentation and support delivery of governance and assurance activities.
- Develop and maintain team resources, communications and training materials.
- Support the design and delivery of governance,
risk and privacy learning and awareness initiatives across Duties and Grants.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- An interest in governance, risk, privacy, assurance, compliance or a related discipline, and a willingness to develop your knowledge and skills in these areas.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, interpret and present information in a clear and meaningful way.
- Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work across multiple tasks and deliver quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare correspondence and other business documentation.
- A proactive approach to learning, adapting to changing priorities and using new systems, technologies and processes to support business outcomes.

Salary Grade 5/6, with the base salary for this role starting at 102,936 base plus superannuation.
