Venue Manager – Pasta, People & Good Energy

Allegria Pasta is looking for an experienced, energetic Venue Manager to lead our Fairfield venue. Fairfield brings together our retail store, courtyard café and pasta production. Customers visit us for coffee, pastries, lunch and handmade fresh pasta to enjoy at home.

We’re looking for a bubbly, hands-on leader who loves hospitality, creates a welcoming atmosphere and brings positive energy to the team.

This is a casual position offering approximately 38 hours per week across a seven-day roster. You’ll be primarily based in Fairfield but may occasionally support our Malvern Central location, so a current driver’s licence and reliable car are required.

About the Role

You’ll take ownership of the venue’s day-to-day performance, including customer service, team leadership, presentation, sales, stock and labour.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading, training and motivating our casual team.
- Creating a positive, accountable and enjoyable team culture.
- Overseeing daily service across coffee, food and retail.
- Managing rostering, labour costs and service flow.
- Keeping the venue welcoming, well-stocked and beautifully presented.
- Managing stock levels, ordering, product quality and waste.
- Building relationships with regular customers and the Fairfield community.




- Monitoring sales and identifying opportunities to grow venue performance.
- Maintaining food-safety, cleanliness and HACCP standards.
- Supporting Allegria’s other retail locations when required

About You You’ll be a great fit if you are:

- Commercially minded, with an understanding of sales, labour and costs.
- Calm and practical when solving problems.

Experience and Skills

- At least three years’ experience in venue management or a senior hospitality role.
- Experience leading and developing a hospitality team.
- Café, rapid-casual or food-retail experience preferred.
- Strong rostering, stock-control and labour-management skills.
- Confidence using Excel and online hospitality systems.
- Availability across a seven-day roster, including weekends when required.
- A current driver’s licence and reliable car.
