Beenleigh State High School is seeking an enthusiastic and confident individual to join our Attendance Team in the Administration Office.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people in a 'front of house' role, thrives in a busy school environment and is committed to providing excellent service to students, parents, staff and the wider community.

This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.83FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

Our modern facilities include an eLearning Centre, science laboratories, trade training and hospitality facilities, special education facilities and the Indigenous Room, Mibunn Jinndi (Eagle Nest).
Your opportunity:
- Support a learning environment by monitoring student attendance, producing absence reports for senior leaders, and liaising with parents/carers to verify student absences.
- Contribute to the effective and effective operations of the school by providing a high level of administrative support to the Principal and Business Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily student attendance, prepare reports, follow up absences and maintain accurate records.
- Identify students at risk of chronic non-attendance and work with staff, families and support services to address barriers.
- Maintain student attendance and welfare records, including relevant care and legal arrangements.
- Support strategies that improve student engagement and regular school attendance.
- Provide administrative support, including student counter duties, timetable changes, work experience and off-campus activities.
- Provide first aid assistance to students as required.
