About the Role Reporting to senior operational leadership, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of aviation security services while ensuring the highest standards of compliance, safety, service, and operational performance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and managing airport security operations
- Driving a culture of safety, security, and accountability
- Coaching and developing frontline leaders and operational teams
- Ensuring compliance with aviation security legislation and regulations
- Managing workforce planning, resource allocation, and operational readiness
- Monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Investigating security incidents and implementing corrective actions
- Building strong relationships with airport stakeholders, regulators, and clients
- Supporting audits, inspections,



and emergency response activities
- Analysing operational data and preparing leadership reports

About You You are a confident and experienced operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. You have a strong track record of leading teams, managing operational performance, and delivering outstanding customer and security outcomes.

To be successful, you will have:

- Demonstrated leadership experience in aviation, security, transport, defence, emergency services, government, or a similar regulated industry
- Strong workforce planning and operational management experience
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Experience conducting investigations, audits, or operational reviews
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office and reporting system experience
- Current Queensland Security Licence, or the ability to obtain one
- Current ASIC, or the ability to obtain one

Qualifications in Security Management, Business Management, Leadership, Risk Management, or a related discipline will be highly regarded. A Place to Be You
