St John of God Bunbury Hospital has been providing high-quality, compassionate health care to the people of Bunbury and the surrounding communities since 1927.
With 145 beds and more than 330 highly qualified medical practitioners, our hospital caters for a variety of medical and surgical admissions and palliative care, plus allied health and community-based services.
We offer a wide range of services, caring for inpatients, outpatients and day patients across a range of specialties including medical, surgical, rehabilitation and allied health.
About the role
This position is responsible for delivering a broad range of administrative and customer service functions that support the efficient operation of the Engineering Department and wider South West Health Campus. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors and visitors, ensuring professional, accurate and timely administrative support.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support including correspondence, reports, minutes and data entry.
- Manage departmental records, files and databases, including CMMS maintenance system updates.
- Coordinate appointments, enquiries and telephone communications.
- Support contractor inductions, visitor registration and access card/key management.
- Process purchase orders, file receipts and maintain department records.
- Coordinate stationery supplies and departmental stock ordering.
- Manage hospital vehicle fleet bookings and maintenance administration.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers, including waste management providers.
- Arrange receipt, dispatch and courier activities.
- Support medical gas and consumable chemical ordering requirements.
You are a friendly and organised administrator who enjoys supporting others and delivering outstanding customer service. With strong communication skills and a professional approach, you can build positive relationships, manage competing priorities and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy department.
You will bring previous administrative experience,
excellent attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office applications. Most importantly, you are a collaborative team player who is committed to providing high-quality support while embracing the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.

We can offer you
- Salary: $71,352 to $77,022, plus 12% superannuation
- A Full Time position, working 38 hours per week
