Irizar Asia Pacific is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician / Body Builder (Heavy Vehicle HVAC – Bus & Coach) in Perth, WA.

Requirements

- Full Australian working rights required
- Trade qualification (Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Auto Electrician, Body Builder, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience with heavy vehicle air-conditioning/HVAC diagnostics and repairs (essential)
- Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work autonomously in field-based roles with solid troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication, time management and admin/documentation capability
- Proven experience in field service and/or body building within bus/coach or heavy vehicle environments (highly regarded)
- Refrigerant Handling Licence (highly regarded)

Responsibilities

- Performing servicing,



preventative maintenance and inspections on buses and coaches
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and body-related faults efficiently
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicle HVAC systems (including controllers and related components)
- Liaising with customers to understand concerns and provide clear technical advice
- Coordinating with workshop and technical support teams to deliver timely outcomes
- Completing job cards, service reports and documentation accurately while following safety and quality standards
