Due to continued growth, Cortrols Temperature Systems is seeking a motivated and capable BMS Service Technician / Electrician to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians looking to build a career in Building Management Systems (BMS)
The role offers a balance of service work, system optimisation, delivery of small projects and installations within a highly respected BMS business.
About the role
You will play a key role in both service delivery and project commissioning, working across a variety of commercial HVAC and BMS environments.
Key responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining, and fine-tuning BMS systems and associated equipment
- Identification of efficiency and upgrade opportunities
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs across control systems
- Assisting with commissioning of new installations
- Performing point-to-point checks, functionality testing, and witness testing
- Delivery of small projects, control panel building and installation work
- Learn BMS programming, graphics development and system integration under guidance from senior engineers
- Maintaining robust client relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes
- Contributing to continuous improvement of internal processes and systems
About you
- Experience in air conditioning, HVAC, electrical, automation or related technical fields
- Current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
- Current Industry White Card
- Strong computer and networking skills
- Open Communications licence highly regarded
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC and control systems highly regarded

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and time management skills
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- A professional manner, with strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and integrity
Eligibility
- A valid Australian driver's licence
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a current Australian work visa
- Willingness to undergo a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
