Covering 400,000 acres of the Northern Territory, Bullo River Station brings together a working cattle station, biodiversity conservation, and a life changing guest experience. Blessed with stunning natural attributes of the East Kimberly, the station’s pristine landscape is carved with gorges and waterfalls, making it one of Australia’s most breathtakingly beautiful stations.

Following a major redevelopment of the Homestead and Guest Wings, Bullo River Station will reopen in May 2027 as a reimagined luxury lodge and proud member of Luxury Lodges of Australia.

The Guest Experience Host’s are responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience through genuine hospitality, personalised guest service and immaculate housekeeping.

Guest Experience Hosts welcome guests, serve meals and beverages, build meaningful relationships with guests and help create the warm, relaxed hospitality that defines Bullo River Station.

Equality significant, this role plays a critical part in maintaining the presentation of Bullo River Station's guest accommodation and Homestead. Every guest room is serviced daily and maintained to luxury lodge standards. Every shared space must be welcoming, comfortable and guest-ready at all times.

This seasonal role (April - early October) is ideal for someone who thrives in a guest-facing hospitality environment but also genuinely enjoys cleaning, organisation and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Hosting

- Welcome guests and assist with arrivals and departures.
- Build genuine relationships with guests throughout their stay.
- Anticipate guest needs and deliver thoughtful assistance.
- Share stories about Bullo River Station, station life and the East Kimberley.
- Work closely with the Station Manager, Guides and the Guest Chef to ensure a seamless guest experience.




- Act as an ambassador for Bullo River Station and The Landsmith Collection.

Food & Beverage Service

- Assist with breakfast, lunch, dinner and special dining experiences.
- Present and serve food and beverages professionally and confidently.
- Assist with wine, beer and cocktail service.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of guest dietary requirements and preferences.
- Assist with the preparation and pack-down of meal services.
- Create a warm, relaxed and engaging dining atmosphere.

Housekeeping

- Complete arrival preparation, daily room servicing and turndown activities.
- Maintain exceptional presentation standards across guest rooms, ensuites, verandahs and outdoor guest areas.
- Maintain guest lounges, dining areas and Homestead common spaces.
- Ensure all accommodation and public areas remain immaculate and guest-ready at all times.
- Assist with styling, flowers and presentation details throughout the Homestead.

Station life

- As it is a small team, it is expected that each person supports their colleagues across all team & role-specific responsibilities, and any other task that may need doing on the Station.

Essential Skills & Experience
