WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS – Reporting to the Director of Sales – Australia and New Zealand,



this role will develop and execute strategies to maintain and service travel partner business relationships within the NSW & ACT territory. Working alongside Oceania Cruises’ Marketing team, you will implement local marketing and promotional programs to achieve and maximise territory sales objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Research and continually source new revenue opportunities and methods within assigned accounts to achieve sales goals, utilizing customer centric sales strategies.
- Retain and maintain business relationships for each travel agency and develop personalized approach to help maximise agencies’ profits.
- Service travel partner’s needs via problem resolution utilizing knowledge of company products, services, and support from our head office sales team.
- Develop a plan to remain accessible to travel partners and maintain open communication channels.
- Plan, create and implement an annual territory sales plan to ensure achievement of assigned goals for FIT and Group businesses.
- Utilise existing data and reports to develop strategic and tactical plans for achieving territory goals.
- Manage budget within guidelines to include travel, coop, supplies, advertisement and promotions, and review the total budget at the end of each month.
- Conduct seminars, famil’s, cruise events, trade and consumer shows etc as needed.




- Submit weekly sales reports in Salesforce.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Tourism preferred.
- 3+ years’ relevant experience in Travel, Cruise or a related industry.
- Ability to build personal credibility by way of solid product knowledge, services, procedures, consistent follow-through and problem solving skills.
- Proven ability to implement contracts using superior negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly in changing sales environments; ability to shift priorities per business and/or territory demands.
- Analytical skills sufficient to translate revenue results and effectively manage budget and forecasting.
- Superior planning skills for developing a sales strategy and the assigned territory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Ability to travel within the field sales territory, hold a valid drivers license, and the availability to work evenings and/or weekends when required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite, and experience/knowledge of Salesforce, CRM and e-commerce channels.
