About HLW Group

HLW Group is a growing Sydney-based liquid waste and grease trap services business, known for reliability, compliance, and strong long-term client relationships. With increasing demand across the Sydney metro area, we’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help grow our customer base and lock in long-term service agreements.

The Role

This is a field-based BDM role focused on Sydney Metro. You’ll be responsible for winning new business, growing existing accounts, and building referral relationships with plumbers, builders, and developers.

You’ll have clear ownership of your territory, defined targets, and the support of an established operations team — so you can focus on selling, not chasing internal issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Proactively source and secure current waste management and grease trap clients across Sydney Metro
- Conduct cold calling, site visits, and face-to-face meetings
- Convert leads into multi-year service agreements
- Grow and maintain an existing customer portfolio
- Build referral relationships with plumbers,



builders, and developers
- Manage your sales pipeline end-to-end through the CRM
- Provide regular sales activity and pipeline updates

Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets Bonus & Commission Structure

This role includes a clear and achievable performance-based bonus, paid quarterly.

What We’re Looking For

- Proven B2B sales or business development experience
- Comfortable with cold calling and face-to-face selling
- Strong relationship-building and follow-up skills
- CRM experience and good sales discipline
- Self-motivated and organised
- Experience in waste, trades, construction, facilities or services is highly regarded (but not essential)
