About the role

This is a flexible casual position suited to someone who enjoys networking, meeting new people and developing business opportunities. You will work with local businesses, employers and community organisations to identify training opportunities and promote Ardor College's courses and services. Your focus will include developing relationships with businesses across industries such as hospitality, childcare, aged care, community services and other local organisations.

Key responsibilities

- Generate new student and corporate training leads
- Visit and build relationships with local businesses and organisations
- Develop new employer and industry partnerships
- Promote Ardor College's training programs and short courses
- Generate First Aid and CPR group bookings
- Arrange meetings, presentations and information sessions
- Follow up enquiries and prospective clients
- Attend relevant local networking and community events
- Maintain records of leads and business development activities
- Work towards agreed lead, enrolment and corporate booking targets

About you

- Confident communicating with new people
- Comfortable approaching businesses directly
- Self-motivated and results focused
- Professional and well presented




- Able to work independently
- Good at developing and maintaining business relationships
- Organised with solid follow-up skills
- Familiar with the Townsville business community
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle are required
- Previous experience in business development, sales, recruitment, education or vocational training, hospitality, employment services, community engagement, or corporate training would be highly regarded

About us Ardor College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) based in Townsville, delivering nationally recognised qualifications and short courses across areas including First Aid & CPR, Hospitality, Kitchen Management, Hairdressing, Barbering and workplace training.
