Business Support – Administration Officer
Location: Parramatta, NSW
Employment Type: Full-time, 12-month contract, with the possibility of extending for an additional 6 months
About the role
We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Business Support Officer to join our Business Support Team in Parramatta.
In this role, you will provide high-level administrative and business support across a range of functions, including finance, payroll, procurement, systems administration, reporting and project support. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure effective and effective business operations.
Your key responsibilities
- Provide administrative and business support across the team.
- Perform finance-related tasks, including claims, billing, exports and ad hoc payroll support.
- Assist with invoicing and Supply Agreements.
- Maintain and update the H&CC; SharePoint site.
- Support system testing, data entry and project activities.
- Manage team email accounts and respond to requests.
- Provide basic systems support and guidance to staff.
- Assist with vendor management and procurement activities.
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets and databases.
- Process Medicare claims and provide administrative assistance.
- Support training activities and other business priorities as required.
About you
You will have:
- Experience working in a business support or administration role.
- Strong and advanced Excel and database skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with systems and providing basic technical support.
- Strong customer service and telephone communication skills.
- The ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Confidence working with suppliers and using negotiation and influencing skills.
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
