An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced, skilled and motivated Cabinetmaker to join our growing team at JSK Cabinetry, located in Brisbane, QLD.

JSK Cabinetry, operated by KO Group Pty Ltd, is a growing Brisbane-based company specialising in custom cabinetry, joinery and residential construction solutions. Originally established as a cabinetry design and manufacturing business, the company has expanded into full-scale residential construction, renovation and interior design services, delivering integrated design-and-build solutions across both residential and commercial projects.

We are seeking an experienced Cabinetmaker to support our expanding operations. This is a full-time position involving both factory-based cabinet production and on-site measurement and installation.

With increasing demand in the housing and renovation market, JSK Cabinetry continues to grow its operations, offering end-to-end project delivery from initial design and planning through to manufacturing, installation and final finishes. The company is known for its high-quality workmanship, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate across multiple trades to achieve seamless project outcomes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Examine plans, drawings, work orders and specifications to determine cabinet dimensions, construction methods and material requirements.
- Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions against plans and specifications prior to manufacture and installation.
- Select and work with cabinetry materials including particle board, MDF, timber, laminates, veneers and other manufactured boards.
- Measure, mark, cut, shape, edge,



assemble and finish components for kitchen, bathroom, wardrobe and other custom cabinetry and joinery.
- Manufacture, assemble and fit cabinet components, shelving, built-in furniture and associated fixtures.
- Fit and adjust cabinetry hardware including hinges, drawer runners, handles, locks, catches and other fittings.
- Install completed cabinetry and joinery on residential and commercial sites, including final alignment and adjustment.
- Read and work from production drawings and specifications and assist with the preparation or adjustment of cabinet drawings where required.
- Check completed cabinetry for dimensional accuracy, finish quality and correct operation of fittings and hardware.
- Coordinate cabinet production activities, including cutting, assembly, hardware fitting and preparation for installation.
- Coordinate on-site installation activities and resolve installation or fitting issues as required.
- Maintain cabinetmaking tools, machinery and equipment in good working condition.
- Maintain clean and safe workshop and job site environments in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Identify and provide recommendations to the supervisor or manager regarding production, installation and workplace processes.

To be considered for this position,



the candidate should have:

- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Cabinetmaker or in a closely related cabinetmaking/joinery role.
- Demonstrated experience in the fabrication, assembly and installation of kitchen, bathroom, wardrobe and other custom cabinetry.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, work orders and specifications.
- Robust site measurement skills and ability to work accurately from measurements and specifications.
- Experience selecting and working with particle board, MDF, timber, laminates, veneers and other cabinetry materials.
- Experience measuring, marking, cutting, shaping, edging, assembling and finishing cabinetry components.
- Experience fitting and adjusting cabinetry hardware including hinges, drawer runners, handles, locks and associated fittings.
- Experience using cabinetmaking tools, machinery and equipment.
- Experience with both workshop-based cabinet production and on-site installation.
- Strong attention to detail, dimensional accuracy and quality workmanship.
- Ability to identify and resolve manufacturing and installation issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required.
- A current Australian driver’s licence or the ability to travel to job sites as required.

Desirable:

- Experience using cabinetry design or drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar software.
- Experience coordinating cabinet production and/or on-site installation activities.
