We’re looking for an experienced Café Manager who is passionate about people, food and hospitality, and who takes genuine pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment for both our guests and our team.
We’re looking for someone who:

- Enjoys working collaboratively and supporting those around them
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a barista
- Has strong hospitality or café management experience
- Confident with staff rostering, scheduling and managing team availability
About the Role As our Café Manager, you’ll be an important part of the day-to-day running and continued growth of our space.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading, supporting and motivating the café team
- Creating a positive, collaborative and enjoyable workplace
- Planning menu items and contributing ideas around food and service
- Responding thoughtfully and professionally to customers’ needs and complaints
- Ensuring our guests receive exceptional, friendly and attentive service
- Ordering supplies and managing stock
- Budgeting and handling cash for the business
- Managing daily café operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly
- Problem-solving and making confident decisions in a busy environment
- Ensuring food safety regulations and workplace standards are consistently followed
Key Skills & Requirements To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a barista
- A passion for quality coffee, food, and hospitality
- Previous café or hospitality management experience is highly regarded
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Comfortable managing staff rosters and keeping the team organised
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills
- A collaborative and positive approach
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
- Confidence with budgeting, cash handling, and stock management
- A passion for quality coffee, food, and hospitality
- The ability to remain calm, friendly, and professional in a busy setting
