Looking for a fun, active job over the warmer months? Love being part of a outstanding team and serving up coffee, food and good vibes? Come join the Starting Block Café at the Tweed Regional Aquatic Centre - a busy community hub full of energy, families, splash zones, slides and smiles.

We're on the hunt for motivated, customer-focused Café Assistants to join the team. Whether you're a barista pro, a short-order cook, or simply enjoy working behind the scenes with food prep and kitchen hand duties - we'd love to hear from you!

What we're looking for:

- Experience in café operations and/or customer service
- Barista or short-order cook experience is a big plus
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Food Handling Certificate is a bonus




- Super reliable, friendly and positive attitude
- Great team player who enjoys working in a busy environment
- Must be available to work weekends - Saturday and/or Sunday shifts will be required
- Must be flexible to work across a 7-day rotating roster
- Early starts, with shifts generally 7am-3pm
- Available for an ASAP start

Weekend availability is essential for this role, particularly as we head into the busy spring and summer period.
