We are seeking a number of experienced Carers with a Certificate III in Aged Care to undertake the role of a Carer at our Griffith Village on a casual basis.

The role entails providing care to residents as a member of the care team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse to provide person centered care which includes:

- Empowering our residents to ensure their choices and preferences are met, including serving food and feeding residents when required
- Assisting residents with their daily care needs
- Assisting residents to participate in activities

You will bring:

- A caring and patient outlook and enjoy making a positive impact to our residents everyday lives.
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in an aged care or community health setting and an understanding of issues relating to dementia care
- Previous working knowledge of the aged care industry and person-centred care




- Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships
- Confidence working in a flexible team environment
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Ability to speak other languages (desirable but not essential)
