About the Role

G2K Carpentry Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis, working across residential and multi-residential construction projects in Melbourne. The successful candidate will undertake a range of carpentry works with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation of internal and external doors
- Installation of door jambs and frames
- Installation and adjustment of door hardware
- Installation of skirting and architectural trims
- First and second fix carpentry works
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Measuring and setting out carpentry works accurately
- Rectification of carpentry defects where required
- Coordinating with site supervisors, project managers and other trades
- Carrying out work safely and in accordance with relevant Australian standards and site requirements

Skills and Experience
- Relevant carpentry qualification or equivalent experience




- Professional experience working as a Carpenter
- Experience in residential and/or multi-residential construction
- Experience with doors, jambs, hardware and finishing carpentry
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Full Australian driver licence or reliable transport to travel to construction sites
