Reporting to the Group Maintenance & Asset Manager, theNPI Technician plays a vital role in maintainingthe safety, functionality, and comfort of our remote accommodationvillages and site infrastructure. Working across our operations onan 8:6 roster, you will be responsible forensuring camp facilities and essential services remain operational,well-maintained, and compliant with site standards.

This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive and versatilemaintenance skilled who enjoys working in a dynamic remoteenvironment.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Carry out general building and facilities maintenance,including basic carpentry, painting, flyscreen repairs,furniture assembly, and minor repairs.
n
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance onvillage infrastructure, including potable water systems, sewagetreatment facilities, lighting, and associated services.
n
- Perform basic HVAC maintenance, including cleaning andreplacing air-conditioning filters in accommodation rooms andcommunal areas.
n
- Maintain camp grounds and external areas, ensuringwalkways, landscaping, waste management, and general sitepresentation meet required standards.
n
- Complete maintenance activities and work orders through thesite's Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS),ensuring accurate and timely record keeping.
n
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency situationssuch as water leaks, utility interruptions, and infrastructurefaults to minimise disruption to site personnel.
n
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contributeto a positive safety culture across all operations.

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
- A recognised trade qualification in Carpentry, Plumbing,Electrical, or a related discipline, or substantial experiencein a maintenance/handyperson role within a commercial,industrial, or mining environment.
n
- Previous FIFO, mining camp, remote village, or siteinfrastructure maintenance experience.
n
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with theability to work independently.
n
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace health, safety, andenvironmental standards.
n
- A current Manual Driver's Licence.
n
- High Risk Work Licences, including Forklift and/or ElevatedWork Platform (EWP), will be highly regarded.
n
