Staff Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

Tertiary Referral Hospital | NSW | 12-Month Appointment | Full-Time Preferred | Part-Time Considered | FRANZCOG

Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join an established tertiary women's health service in NSW on a 12-month appointment.
n
Full-time is preferred, however part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
n
This is an excellent prospect for a Consultant O&G; specialist seeking a broad tertiary clinical role, with the flexibility to tailor the balance of Obstetrics and Gynaecology according to your experience, subspecialty interests and departmental requirements.
n
The Opportunity
n
Working within an established multidisciplinary women's health service, you will provide senior consultant-level care across a diverse and complex tertiary workload.
n
The Role Offers Exposure To

- High-risk obstetrics

- Complex gynaecology

- Acute gynaecological presentations

- Elective gynaecology
n
- Complex gynaecological surgery
n
- Tertiary referrals
n
- Consultant-led inpatient and outpatient care
n
n
You will participate in the consultant on-call roster, supervise registrars and junior medical staff, and contribute to the ongoing development of the service.
n
There is scope to maintain a combined Obstetrics & Gynaecology practice or develop a greater focus in either Obstetrics or Gynaecology, subject to your experience and the requirements of the department.
n

About You
n
We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician & Gynaecologist who is committed to high-quality specialist care and collaborative clinical practice.
n
You Will Have
n
n
- FRANZCOG
n
- Eligibility for Specialist Registration with AHPRA
n
- Demonstrated consultant-level experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
n
- Experience managing complex obstetric and/or gynaecological presentations
n
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
n
- Commitment to teaching and supervision
n
- An interest in clinical governance, research or service development
n
n
International Specialists Welcome
n
UK-trained O&G; Consultants and other suitably qualified international specialists are encouraged to enquire.
n
If you hold an overseas specialist qualification and have commenced or are progressing through the RANZCOG specialist assessment pathway, we can discuss your individual circumstances and potential AHPRA registration pathway.
n
SIMGs with a RANZCOG application progressing or an outcome already received are particularly encouraged to contact us.
