IKC Structures designs, manufactures and builds premium sheds, steel structures, steel fabrication projects and intensive farming facilities throughout South Australia.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our growing team.

n

This is a full time, permanent position based at our Clare office.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
n
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date
n
- Prepare and lodge BAS, payroll tax and other statutory reporting obligations
n
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting and financial planning
n
- Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to improve business outcomes
n
- Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts
n
- Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external accountants and auditors
n




- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements and relevant legislation
n
- Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies or areas for process improvement
n
- Provide financial information and advice to management to support business decision-making
n

Essential Requirements:

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
n
- At least two years of relevant accounting experience
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles and taxation requirements
n
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero or MYOB
n
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
n
- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
