Access4 is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help keep our backend environments rock solid. This is a hands‐on role at the centre of our platform's reliability, if you take pride in delivering 99.999% uptime on critical systems and love being the person the team turns to for the hard infrastructure problems, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

- Perform daily maintenance and upkeep of backend systems
n
- Drive continuous improvements and innovations to strengthen system resilience
n
- Act as the go-to Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the engineering team and wider Access4 organisation
n
- Contribute to engineering and R&D; initiatives that support the company's strategic goals
n
- Serve as an on‐call contact for after‐hours events and system emergencies
n
- Stay calm and solution‐focused under pressure, ensuring stability and continuity of critical systems
n
- Bring a disciplined, organised approach to both day‐to‐day tasks and long‐term projects
n

What You'll Bring

n

Must-haves:

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
n
- Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available)
n
- 5+ years' experience in Linux administration, including kernel and module‐level expertise
n
- 5+ years' experience managing on-premises environments
n
- 3+ years' experience with Docker or other containerisation technologies
n
- 3+ years' experience with Ansible or similar automation tools
n
- 3+ years' experience developing in Python
n
- 3+ years' experience with virtualisation technologies
n
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP network stacks and monitoring systems
n




- Excellent problem‐solving and analytical abilities, with strong written and verbal communication skills
n

Nice-to-haves:

- Additional programming languages beyond Python
n
- Experience with database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar)
n
- Knowledge of VoIP technologies (SIP)
