About us

Swansea Hotel is a busy lakeside pub on the southern end of Lake Macquarie, part of Hunter Hotel Group. We're a late-trading venue with a fast-paced floor and a solid local crowd.

The role

We're looking for experienced casuals to work across our bars and gaming room. Shifts include evenings, weekends and late nights (we trade to 4am), so genuine availability across nights and weekends is essential.

You'll be

- Serving drinks across the main bar and gaming bar
- Attending the gaming room — payouts, machine assistance, cash handling and floor presence
- Running end-of-shift cash reconciliation and float checks
- Keeping bar and gaming areas clean, stocked and compliant
- Looking after regulars and delivering a friendly, professional service
- Meeting RSA and RCG obligations every shift

What you'll need

- Current NSW RSA and RCG competency card (essential — no card, no start)
- 18 years or older




- Previous bar experience in a pub or club; gaming room experience strongly preferred
- Confident with cash handling and POS
- Reliable, punctual, able to work unsupervised on late shifts
- Availability Friday and Saturday nights as a minimum

Nice to have

- Cocktail experience
- TAB/Keno experience
- Knowledge of the Swansea/Lake Mac area
