About the job role:
As a Paralegal, your main duties, dependent on the level of role and experience, may include:
- Liaising with parties to organise defect inspections
- File management
- Document review
- Drafting, reviewing and preparing correspondence
- Drafting and preparing documents
- Diary and email management
- Assisting Principal Solicitor with general administrative tasks
- Answering phone calls and redirecting queries as needed
About the firm
This is a solo practioner, botique law firm started by William Musgrave. William Musgrave began his legal career in 2004 after being admitted as a lawyer. Prior to embarking on his legal journey, William accrued extensive experience in banking and finance, both domestically in Australia and internationally. Leveraging this background,
William seamlessly integrated a diverse skill set into his legal practice. His prior experience honed his abilities as a proficient negotiator.
This is a unique position which will allow you to get direct experience under a principal solicitor.
About you
You will have
- the ability to apply a range of technology skills, including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word & Outlook;
- excellent judgement and use of initiative;
- the ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritise work;
- excellent attention to detail; and
- a skilled presentation.
