We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Casual Salesperson to join the team at our Allgoods Launceston store.

For 80 years, Allgoods has been helping Tasmanians find the right gear for work, the country and the outdoors. We're looking for someone who enjoys talking to people, providing great service and being part of a team that takes pride in what they do.

Retail experience is an advantage, but it isn't essential. If you have the right attitude, enjoy working with people and are willing to learn, we'll help you build the product knowledge and skills you need.

The role

As part of our sales team, you'll:

- Welcome customers and help them find the right products for their needs
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable and genuine customer service
- Learn about our extensive range of country, workwear and outdoor products
- Recommend complementary products and solutions
- Process sales and operate our point-of-sale system
- Receive, replenish and merchandise stock
- Help keep the store clean, organised and looking its best
- Work with the wider team to create a great experience for every customer

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys talking to and helping customers
- Is friendly, confident and approachable




- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Is reliable and punctual
- Is willing to learn and develop strong product knowledge
- Is comfortable using computers and retail systems
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Takes pride in their work and presentation
- Is available to work a flexible casual roster, including weekends as required

Previous retail or customer service experience would be highly regarded, but isn't essential. An interest in country and outdoors would also be an advantage.
