Noosa Chocolate Factory is a manufacturer and retailer of premium chocolate and confectionery products based on the Sunshine Coast.

Since 2009, we have handcrafted extraordinary chocolate using quality local ingredients, with our products sold through our growing network of retail stores across South East Queensland.

We currently have exciting opportunities for friendly, motivated and reliable Casual Retail Assistants to join our teams at:

- Noosaville
- Noosa
- Sunshine Plaza
- Chermside
- Brisbane City

Our stores operate seven days a week, with night trading at some locations. Applicants must have versatile availability and be prepared to work a combination of weekday, weekend, public holiday and night shifts, depending on the needs of the store. About the role

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service and sales support while helping maintain store presentation, stock levels and day-to-day retail operations.

As a public face of Noosa Chocolate Factory, you will create a welcoming and professional shopping experience for our customers while supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the store.

Key responsibilities

- Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service
- Greet and assist customers in a helpful and courteous manner
- Offer accurate product information and guidance to support customer purchases
- Promote Noosa Chocolate Factory products confidently
- Process sales using the point-of-sale system
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately
- Wrap and package products neatly and safely
- Respond to customer enquiries in person and by telephone




- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-presented store environment
- Replenish shelves, displays and stock as required
- Receive, unpack and organise stock deliveries
- Assist with product displays and seasonal promotions
- Follow food-safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other team members

About you To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous retail or customer-service experience
- Cash-handling and point-of-sale experience
- A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible availability, including weekends, public holidays and late-night trading where required
- A friendly, approachable and professional manner
- A reliable work ethic and willingness to contribute as part of a team
- The ability to stand for extended periods
- The ability to undertake repetitive tasks, including packing, restocking and cleaning
- The ability to safely lift and move light to moderate stock items

Previous experience is preferred; however, a positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are equally important. What we offer
