About the role The Cellar Door & Guest Experience Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day and commercial performance of the Latitude 32 cellar door and guest experience operation. This is a hands-on management position with accountability for team leadership, guest experience, wine and experience sales, Wine Club growth, labour management, stock control, operational standards and continuous improvement. The role is expected to take ownership of the cellar door as a business unit, ensuring it is operationally disciplined, commercially focused, consistently presented and continually evolving as a destination guests actively recommend.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of memorable, knowledgeable and engaging wine tasting and guest experiences consistent with the Latitude 32 brand
- Ensure the cellar door is fully prepared for each trading day, including presentation, stock, equipment, staffing and guest-facing areas
- Maintain consistently high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness and hospitality throughout the trading day
- Drive cellar door wine sales, paid experience bookings, Wine Club membership growth and other approved revenue initiatives
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion, average transaction value and overall revenue
- Lead, coach,



motivate and develop the cellar door team to deliver strong commercial and guest experience outcomes
- Recruit, onboard and train new team members as required
- Manage day-to-day cellar door operations and ensure the business is ready to trade effectively each day
- Order and maintain appropriate levels of wine, food, packaging, retail and operating stock
- Work closely with the Winemaker to build a solid understanding of Latitude 32 wines, vineyards, winemaking approach and upcoming releases

About you

- Previous management experience in a cellar door, premium hospitality, tourism, retail or comparable customer-facing business
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing teams
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand sales, labour, stock and operating performance
- Experience managing rosters, stock and daily operations
- A genuine interest in wine and enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Confidence to make decisions, set expectations and hold people accountable
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and willingness to take ownership
