About Us

Highlands Campus is a thriving Christian community made up of a Church, Early Learning Centre and P-12 College. We are seeking a Chef or Cook for a full time role in our Cafe, situated in the Campus Hub and open to the public Monday to Friday.

The Cafe primarily serves staff and members of the church community/public and is separate to the College Tuckshop facilities that serve students.

About the role

This is a full time Monday to Friday role with minimal overtime or weekend work.

The role may be shaped by the right candidate but responsibilities could include:

- Lead and coordinate the cafe team during daily operations
- Prepare and cook food, overseeing presentation and food quality
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Assist with day-to-day management of the cafe, menu planning and staff rosters




- Manage stock levels and ordering from suppliers
- Support a positive and welcoming environment in the Campus hub

About You The successful applicant should have the following characteristics and skills:

- Previous cafe or hospitality experience essential
- Qualifications are not essential, but preferred
- Positive attitude and customer focus
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment during peak times
- Commitment to excellence in food standards and presentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to obtain a blue card (working with children check)
