Jellybean Entertainment is looking for fun, energetic and enthusiastic entertainers to join our team!

We bring the BIG fun to children’s parties, school events, festivals, corporate events and special celebrations across Melbourne and beyond — and we’re looking for performers who can help us make every event unforgettable.

WHAT DOES A JELLYBEAN ENTERTAINER DO?

You’ll be the person who walks into a room and instantly brings the energy up!

Depending on the event, you could be:

- Leading a high-energy children's disco
- Dancing and playing games with a room full of excited children
- Entertaining at festivals and community events
- Helping celebrate Grade 6 graduations
- Becoming Professor Jellybean for a crazy science party
- Hosting a Mystery Mission adventure
- Running KPOP, glow, glitter and themed parties
- Getting into character for our Halloween events
- Bringing smiles, laughter and loads of energy to birthday parties
- No two events are exactly the same!

You don’t need to be a professional performer — but you do need to have plenty of personality, confidence and energy!

Performers, actors, dancers, singers, teachers, childcare workers, musicians, presenters and anyone who simply LOVES entertaining are all encouraged to apply.

WHY JELLYBEAN?

You’ll be joining a fun, supportive team where your personality matters.

We’ll provide the training, costumes, music, equipment and everything you need to deliver amazing Jellybean events.

There are opportunities for weekend and school holiday work and some midweek work – especially as we are approaching the end of year celebration season, with bookings across Melbourne, Geelong,



Ballarat and surrounding areas.

And most importantly...

You get paid to make children laugh, dance, play and have an absolute blast!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED To join the Jellybean team, you’ll need:

- A current Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC), or be willing to obtain one.
- Your own reliable car. Our entertainers travel between different venues and need to transport Jellybean equipment, so public transport isn’t suitable for this role.
- An ABN. You’ll invoice Jellybean for the events you work. Don’t have one yet? No problem — applying for an ABN is free.
- A fun, confident and energetic personality!
- The ability to lead a party and engage a group of children.
- Reliability and a qualified attitude.

Experience is preferred in areas such as:

- Hosting children's parties or events
- Performing or entertaining
- Teaching dance
- Working with children
- Singing, acting or presenting

HOW PAY WORKS This is a casual, per-event contractor role, with payment based on each party or event rather than an hourly wage.

Payment starts at $100 for a 1-hour party, with additional pay for longer bookings, and applicable travel and allowances paid on top. Superannuation is also paid in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee requirements. The total amount you receive will depend on the type, duration and location of each event, including any applicable allowances.

You’ll invoice Jellybean Entertainment for the events you complete.

HOW BOOKINGS WORK

One of the great things about working with Jellybean is the flexibility!

You’ll have access to our live booking platform, where you can see your upcoming events, locations, times and booking details all in one place.

When you join the team, you’ll provide us with your availability, which can be updated as your schedule changes.



We’ll then allocate events to you based on your availability.

This means you can work Jellybean around uni, another job, holidays and your life — making it a great role for students, performers and people looking for flexible work.

The key is being organised and reliable. Once an event has been allocated to you and you’ve accepted the booking, we need you to commit to it and make it happen. You’ll know about your bookings in advance, so you can plan your schedule accordingly.

And you’re not on your own!

We have a fantastic team of entertainers who support each other, and if something unexpected comes up, you can work with the team to arrange another trained Jellybean entertainer to cover your event.

THIS IS A TRAVELLING ROLE

Jellybean entertainers travel to parties and events across Melbourne and surrounding areas, so you need to be comfortable travelling.

Your bookings may not always be close to home, and you may be allocated events in different suburbs or areas depending on where our customers are located.

YOUR OWN JELLYBEAN KIT

Once trained, you’ll be provided with your own Jellybean disco equipment, uniform and supplies for the events you are booked to perform.

That means no need to drive back to the Jellybean office after every party to return equipment — your kit stays with you between bookings. It’s designed to make your job as easy as possible.
