What You Will Do

n

Reporting to the Senior Base Cabin Crew, this full-time position encompasses responsibilities including, but not limited to:

n

- Announce and demonstrate safety and emergency procedures – ensuring every passenger understands what to do in an emergency.
n
- Direct and assist passengers in the event of an emergency – you remain calm and capable when it matters most.
n
- Provide outstanding support to all passengers, including unaccompanied minors, nervous travelers, and those with limited English proficiency.
n
- Assist in cleaning the cabin between flights – maintaining a pristine environment for every journey.
n
- Administer first aid to passengers or coordinate first aid efforts, as required.
n
- Provide the highest possible service to our passengers by ensuring all needs are met, and exceeded where possible.
n
- Liaise with the pilot-in-command to properly coordinate the effects of any operational requirements (e.g., weather, passenger requirements, early descents, diversions, etc.).
n
- Ensure that food, beverages, and other supplies are in adequate supply.

Minimum Requirements

n

n
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
n
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011), CPR Certificate (HLTAID009), and Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement (or willing to obtain).
n
- Hold a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity.
n
- Able to swim fully clothed for 50 meters and tread water for 3 minutes.
n
- Have excellent health and fitness, normal function of ear, nose, and throat, and adequate vision (with or without glasses).
n
- Available to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
n
- Have prior customer service experience and a high level of personal presentation.
n
- Previous experience on the Dash 8 or similar aircraft is highly regarded.
n
- Must meet one of the following English language requirements: Completed at least 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand.
n
- Worked in Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, or USA for 3 of the last 5 years.
n
- Completed IELTS with an overall score of 5.5.
