Role Description/Criteria

We are seeking a graduate or early career teacher who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to join our committed staff from Wednesday 27th January, 2027.

This is a contract position for the 2027 school year with the possibility of it becoming on-going. The successful applicant will be working as a classroom teacher in a level team.

At St Anne's Catholic Primary School we pride ourselves on being the city school with a country feel. The school is set in beautiful native gardens and has been refurbished in 2020 and last year to provide modern contemporary learning spaces. We have roughly 230 students who feel like a big family.

We are a strong supportive community who are guided by the teaching of the Catholic Church. We see ourselves as a school for everyone and believe that a love of learning doesn't stop. We are well placed to support early years teachers with mentorship and support for teaching and learning as teams.

Our leadership team is hands on with team learning and guides the teaching and learning process. We have a whole school approach across academic, social and spiritual aspects of the school. The successful applicant will

- have a strong commitment to enhancing Catholic Identity at St Anne's Catholic Primary school
- be able to work in a collaborative team workplace
- be able to plan and implement highly-structured programmes that are underpinned by the Victorian curriculum and in response MACS initiatives
- engage in contemporary, evidence-based practices with proven ability to differentiate learning for students




- have a deep understanding of the social and emotional learning needs of students and proven ability to support students' wellbeing development
- have experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with students, families and colleagues
- show a willingness to contribute to the extra-curricula life of the school
- have an understanding that our school community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all students in our care.

Special Requirements
- accreditation to Teach and Lead Religious Education in a Catholic school (provide proof) or a willingness to undertake studies
- current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration (provide proof)
- include the contact details of three referees
- include certified copies of all teaching awards and drivers licence for proof of identity
