At Perth Child Development Centre (Perth CDC), we believe the best outcomes for children happen when great clinicians work together — and when those clinicians genuinely enjoy where they work. We are a growing multidisciplinary paediatric clinic in West Perth bringing together paediatric medicine, psychology, speech pathology and occupational therapy under one roof.

Our philosophy is simple: children and families should receive coordinated, evidence-based care from practitioners who communicate with each other rather than working in isolation.

We are now looking for a Psychologist with an interest in paediatrics to join our team for approximately 2–3 days per week.

The Role

This is a varied paediatric psychology position combining assessment and ongoing therapeutic intervention, with the opportunity to shape your caseload around your clinical interests and experience.

Your work may include

- Cognitive and developmental assessments
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessment
- ADHD assessment
- Learning and academic assessments
- Developmental delay and Global Developmental Delay
- Emotional regulation and behavioural difficulties
- Anxiety, emotional wellbeing and adjustment difficulties
- Social skills and peer relationships
- Parent support and psychoeducation
- School-related difficulties and school liaison
- Supporting children with neurodevelopmental differences
- Collaborative treatment planning with paediatricians and allied health clinicians

A child you are assessing may also be working with our OT or speech pathologist, or be under the care of one of our paediatricians.

This is a 2–3 day-per-week position, and we are happy to discuss how those days and hours are structured. We don’t believe that a clinician needs to be exhausted to be productive. Who we’d love to meet

You may already be an experienced paediatric psychologist, or you may be a psychologist looking to develop further within paediatrics.

Remuneration

Competitive remuneration aligned with the Perth market.

Typical ranges include

- Psychologist: $86,667 – $105,000 pro rata + super
- Clinical Psychologist: $100,000 – $130,000 pro rata + super

Depending on experience and qualifications.
